I just wanted to write to you and thank you once again for a truly inspirational two days with you.

(Rod) has delivered high quality training to Indigenous Australians including people employed by them as trainees at Lockhart River, in the Cardwell/lnnisfail area in response to disaster relief resulting from Cyclone Yasi for the Cassowary Coast Regional Council and Terrain, for Outstation North’s indigenous training programs and to various community groups throughout FNQ with identified training needs. Feedback on the delivery of this training has been consistently positive.

G’day Rod. I want to thank you for the very practical, hands-on course you delivered to us. I was originally trained by my father- in-law (also a professional timber cutter in NQ) some 40 years ago. It was great to have the opportunity to learn from his experience and one of the things that made your course such a stand out was your openness to sharing your extensive knowledge and experience with us. It was also great to have you standing beside us to ensure that we were practising and refining the techniques you taught while building our skills and confidence.
